Arc welder/Legends

Arc welders were tools carried by astromech droids. Their main purpose was for repairing things, such as bulkheads, but creative droids could improvise to employ them for various other purposes. R2-D2 used an arc welder to release Leia Organa from her shackles on Jabba's Sail Barge in 4 ABY.
