An Intravenous Access Unit (IAU) was a form of catheter that could be used by 2-1B surgical droids to treat enzyme eruptions in the hearts of the Pui-ui species.[1] Doctor Aurin Leith used one to treat Gebnerret Vibrion during his rescue from Selnesh Imperial Detention Center. She used it to administer Clondex and other medicines to treat his Zithrom's syndrome.[2]
