Arkanian Revolution

The Arkanian Revolution was an attempted coup on Arkania in 50 BBY where the Arkanian Renegades attempted to topple the Arkanian Dominion. Known for their knowledge of cyborging, Arkanian scientists tried to create the 'ultimate' mercenary army of cyborg warriors. Though the coup was a failure, several of these warriors survived and struck out into the galaxy. Gorm was the highest profile of these survivors.

Gorm would ultimately become the most famous of the Renegades' creations.

Behind the scenes

The Arkanian Revolution was created by Daniel Wallace for The Essential Guide to Droids (1999), tying into the backstory of bounty hunter Gorm the Dissolver from Tom Veitch's Dark Empire 3 (1992).
