Disabler
A disabler was a device that could deactivate the alarms in the weapons testing lab of an Imperial Technical Branch Outpost. The alarm was triggered by anyone entering or leaving the lab with a blaster power pack; security guards carried a disabler to override the alarm to prevent triggering it during patrols.
