Destructor beam

A destructor beam was a ship-mounted weapon that was essentially a very powerful turbolaser and close to the destructive potential of a superlaser. One such weapon was installed on the Star Destroyer Courteous, which was tasked with the blockade of the ThonBoka nebula. However, the ship and the prototype were destroyed by the Oswaft, ending all research into these shipboard weapons.
