Defensus Solar
Defensus Solar was a private law enforcement corporation who were hired by the Geelan to maintain law and order aboard Zirtran's Anchor.
Operating from a conglomeration of interconnected warships in Sector Beta, a force of 100 well-trained Defensus Solar Security Officers frequently patrolled the space station. They were committed to their job and submitted all new arrivals to Zirtran's Anchor to a security and ID check before allowing them aboard the space station.
They did not mediate disputes between factions and were also not allowed into "independent zones", which were off limits to anyone but their owners and those the owners allowed aboard. Often smugglers and criminals would use independent zones as a way to get around Defensus Solar's agents. In an attempt to counter this, Defensus Solar set up random checkpoints hoping to catch such unauthorized visitors.
