Dave Stevens was an American illustrator best known for his good girl pin-up artwork, and as the creator of The Rocketeer.

Stevens assisted Russ Manning on the Tarzan newspaper strips in the 1970s, and was one of the artists who helped Manning complete the run of the The Frozen World of Ota story arc when Manning fell ill during the run of that strip.

On March 10, 2008, Dave Stevens passed away after a prolonged bout with Leukemia.
