Data Scanner

The Data Scanner was a code reading datapad manufactured by MerenData. It was a standard datapad interface with inventory tracking programming, coupled with a removable scanner unit. Running the scanner over the marker tag produced by the Cargo Label Generator 2-CLG read the code, and that data was downloaded to the datapad by returning the scanner unit to its socket.
