Darkest Knight
Darkest Knight was a title given by the Shadow Academy in 22 ABY to their top Dark Jedi trainees.
History
The title of Darkest Knight was gained following a life-or-death tournament which saw one participant kill the other, evidence of the "survival of the fittest" policy in use by the Academy. The Shadow Academy had been recruiting youths (mainly Humans) from the dregs of galactic society, most notably the Coruscant-based street gang Lost Ones. Those found to be Force-sensitive were trained as Dark Jedi while those who weren't became stormtroopers and TIE pilots.
Notable bearers included Zekk who obtained the title after a life-or-death duel in zero gravity with another student, Vilas, mistaking him for an illusion.
