Dar Es
Dar Es was a group of three CR90 corvettes in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.
During Operation Skyhook, while the Rebel Alliance was looking for the location of the first Death Star, General Jan Dodonna proposed that the destruction of the Imperial repair dock above Kalla VII may leave an Imperial ship stranded and vulnerable to capture by the Rebels. Dodonna's plan worked and the Imperial EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Priam became stranded at the destroyed repair dock.
The Empire moved quickly to protect the stranded vessel, dispatching Dar Es group to guard it. Dar Es I and Dar Es II were already in position when the Rebels launched an attack to eliminate the escort. Two R-22 Spearheads from Blue Squadron were to engage the Priam's TIE starfighters while two Y-wings from Red Squadron, led by Keyan Farlander, were to destroy the corvettes with their proton torpedoes.
By the time Dar Es III arrived, accompanying a Delta-class DX-9 stormtrooper transport carrying supplies and personnel, the Rebels had already destroyed one of the corvettes. The two remaining corvettes were destroyed, as was the transport before the Rebels withdrew leaving only a minefield and a handful of TIE starfighters to defend the Priam.
