This article covers a subject that was included as an Easter egg in a Star Wars Legends source and may not have been considered canon within the Legends continuity.

Dan Aykroyd was a famous actor within the galaxy. Although he shared a similar name with Star Tours' PR droid announcer, Dan Android, any relation between the two is unclear.[1]

Behind the scenes

Dan Aykroyd was briefly mentioned in the "Spot the Droid" poster's bio for Dan Android as well as the Complete Guide to Star Tours, jokingly mentioning the similarities between the names, in the Tokyo Disneyland version of Star Tours.[1] In reality, he is a well-known Canadian screenwriter, musician, comedian and actor.
