ZX miniature flame projector/Legends
The ZX miniature flame projector (also called a flamethrower gauntlet) was a personal, concealed, portable incendiary weapon produced by Czerka Corporation.
When triggered, the ZX produced a cone of fire five meters long and one meter in diameter. A corded fuel line connected to a backpack canister which held enough fuel for three minutes of operation . The flamethrower itself was powered by a source not located on the wrist.
The unit was made famous by bounty hunter Jango Fett, and later, Boba Fett. They housed their flame projectors on their left wrist gauntlets below their BlasTech Dur-24 wrist lasers on their Mandalorian armor. The weapon was connected to the fuel tank in their Mitrinomon Z-6 jetpacks with reinforced cords.
In the footsteps of Jango Fett, many Mandalorian Supercommandos and Mandalorian Protectors had similar flamethrowers installed on their armors.
