Daalang/Legends
Daalang was a world on the Gamor Run in the Mid Rim, near Attahox.
History
- "You were supposed to be escorting me to the Rebels' Trade Conference on Daalang. That's important, Solo... That's people's lives!"
- ―Leia Organa, to Han Solo
Daalang joined the Galactic Republic prior to the Indecta Era. During the Alsakan Conflicts, it supported Coruscant.[4]
During the Great Sith War, Krath came from Nixor and conquered the planet, from which they moved to Lannik. Decades later, during the Jedi Civil War, the planet was the site of a battle won by the Sith.[2] During the New Sith War, Republic Navy's starfighter corps dispatched a task force to Dalaang but the mission was a failure. The survivors, who became known later as Devil Squadron, were captured and enslaved for several years by the Hutt crime lord Zodoh after the inhabitants refused to shelter them.[7]
In the Clone Wars, the CIS had stationed a Anti-orbital Mass-driver cannon. The shields of the CIS base where destroyed by Lightning Squadron, clearing the path for the Star Destroyer Eliminator to attack the CIS base.[5]
During the Galactic Civil War, Daalang hosted a Rebel Alliance trade conference.[6]
Daalang was a stronghold of the New Republic during the Hunt for Zsinj, which took place between 7 and 8 ABY[8] and the Thrawn campaign of 9 ABY.[9]
The Yuuzhan Vong invaded the planet shortly after arriving in Hutt Space.[2]
