Cryogenic hibernation capsule
A cryogenic hibernation capsule or cryogenic chamber was used on spaceships as a substitute for bacta tanks. They could be used for the transport of live cargo or to keep the critically injured stable until acceptable medical facilities were reached. Han Solo carried a cryogenic hibernation capsule aboard the Millennium Falcon to transport perishable, living, plants such as Shadorian assassin and Togorian dream weed.
