Cruisemissile assault craft
Cruisemissile assault craft, also known as cruisemissiles, were Imperial fighters used during the Galactic Civil War.
Characteristics
The Cruisemissile assault craft had two proton torpedo launchers and two laser cannons attached to its two thruster engines. The fighter had wings that unfolded upon entering a battlefield, which aided in maneuverability. The fighter lacked armor and shields.[1]
History
The Cruisemissile was the spearhead of the Imperial Navy, launching from Imperial-class Star Destroyers to hit Rebel military bases.The tiny craft was piloted by Cruisemissile troopers, troops picked from elite TIE/LN starfighter pilots.[1]
