The credit chip bio-encoder was a credit chip security encryption device produced by MerenData. The bio-encoder took a genetic sample from the user to replicate a culture of biological organisms. These organisms were then used to treat the owner's credit chip. If anyone but the owner handled the credit chip, the organisms reacted causing discoloration and pain.
