The Turan were a sentient species with orange skin.

Some Turans pursued careers in music, like the popular band who played in the main hall of a Cloud City casino around 3 ABY. Base nose flutes, electric harps and soft percussion drums gave their music an "insistent, exhilarating tune" that stirred the bounty hunter Dengar deeply.
