Council of 127
The Council of 127 was a ruling body of the planet Garban and of the Jenet species. The council was under the leadership of the Premiere, the leader of the Jenets. The members of the Council of 127 were chosen by a byzantine process that was difficult for non-Jenets to comprehend. Nevertheless, the council members were easily distinguished from the populace at large because their names were changed to reflect their status.[1]
