Controller/Legends
Controller was the title given to officers who operated as space traffic controllers in the Galactic Empire. Their job was to clear, direct and track traffic around Imperial space stations and capital ships. Controllers were also assigned to starfighter units; in this capacity they acted to coordinate the targeting data and attack vectors of all craft within their sphere of responsibility, in keeping with Imperial tactical doctrine.
Jhoff served as the space traffic controller aboard the Executor around the time of the Battle of Endor, and was responsible for the control of traffic around the Executor and Endor.
Besides the Galactic Empire, the Rebel Alliance also made use of the title. Several were stationed at Massassi Station around the time of the Battle of Yavin. The rebel controllers on Hoth monitored the flight pattern of ships during the Battle of Hoth. They used the OrC-19 com-scan integrator console.
