The rank of Colonel-Supervisor was a rank superior to that of Captain-Supervisor. Captain-Supervisor Grammel, an Imperial Army officer in command of the garrison and mining operation on the planet Circarpous V, was promised the rank of Colonel-Supervisor by Governor Bin Essada of Gyndine once Princess Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker were delivered to Darth Vader. Grammel failed at this task, and was killed by Darth Vader for his failure, still a lowly Captain-Supervisor.[1]
