Chroma-neeka
Chroma-neekas were tiny rodent-like creatures that nested inside computers and other electric devices. The fed off the power lines causing malfunctions. Chroma-neeka's would spread by stowing away aboard tramp freighters.
In gambler jargon, a chroma-neeka was someone who used the complicated layers of governmental and corporate bureaucracy to their own advantage.
