Central multitasking unit
Central multitasking units were devices used aboard spacecraft that allowed a single computer to control the functions of a number of diverse peripheral devices. These included, but were not limited to food preparation units, life support, communications, and entertainment systems. They were known to be used on Coruscant's Mirror Stations.
