Canary
- "His physiology is supposed to be delicate or something, like a canary's."
- ―Lando Calrissian, discussing Quor'sav passenger Waywa Fybot
A canary was a creature known for its delicate physiology. The avian Quor'sav species had a similarly frail constitution, which led Lando Calrissian to compare their physiology to a canary[1] sometime between 3 BBY and 2 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes
The canary was mentioned in the 1983 novel Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, the second entry in The Lando Calrissian Adventures trilogy of novels by L. Neil Smith.[1]
