Calamarian minisub
The Calamarian minisub was a small submarine used on the oceanic planet of Calamari.[1] In 5 ABY,[3] Luke Skywalker, Gial Ackbar, C-3PO, and R2-D2 used a fish-shaped Calamarian minisub to track and spy upon a Whaladon-hunting submarine.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Calamarian minisub first appeared in the 1992 Star Wars Legends novel The Glove of Darth Vader, which was written by Paul Davids and Hollace Davids, with illustrations by Karl Kesel.[1] In the current Star Wars canon, a similar submarine appeared in the 2018 comic book Darth Vader (2017) 15.[4]
