EV motivator

The EV motivator was a model of motivator that MerenData intended to install in their EV-series supervisor droid.[1] However, either through negligence or sabotage, an employee substituted them with a case of MDF motivators,[2] meant to be installed in torture droids. The affected droids were recalled by MerenData to exchange the motivators.[3]

Behind the scenes

The EV motivator was first mentioned in The Essential Guide to Droids, a 1999 Star Wars Legends reference book written by Daniel Wallace.[2]
