The Letter Home

The Letter Home is a short story written by Grant S. Boucher, originally published in Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope. It was also included in The Movie Trilogy Sourcebook.

Plot

The story reprints an Alliance pilot's letter home to his mother shortly before the Battle of Yavin. The pilot's name is withheld, but the introduction explains that he did not survive the battle.
