The Regent of Alderaan was a position in the court of Alderaan. The Lorrdian comedian Rewello once performed for an individual holding that office sometime during the rise of the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
A "Regent of Alderaan" was mentioned in the 1993 roleplaying guide Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook.[1] In the 67th issue of The Official Star Wars Fact File, it was also stated that Bail Prestor Organa transferred his functions to a regent in order to become senator.[2]
