Pii III was a planet famous for the luxury greel wood that grew there. It was located in the Pii system inside the Arkanis sector of the galaxy. It was one of "Teeda's Eyes." It averaged 105 centimeters of precipitation annually.

At one point, Pii III was the site of a Duros colony, which was later abandoned.^[1]

The Greel Wood Logging Corporation had a significant presence on the world. There was a Rebel Alliance cell active on Pii III before 2 ABY; Adazian Liebke and Xenon Nnaksta were trying to gather supplies for this cell when they were attacked by bounty hunter Ssach'thirix.^[2]
