The shockwave generator was a weapon used by the ancient Mandalorian Crusaders. On many Basilisk war droids, the nose of the droid was composed of a cluster of shockwave generator rods. When fired, the rods combined their charges to release a plasma burst capable of puncturing a starship's hull.
