EVS-6962 was an EVS Construction Droid which was active on Coruscant shortly after Rogue Squadron helped bring the planet under New Republic rule. Under Wedge Antilles supervision, EVS-6962 uncovered a secret Imperial Interrogation Center during its routine tear-down assignment.
Behind the scenes
If the identification number for EVS-6962 was entered into a touch-tone phone in the Brooklyn area, it would dial the They Might Be Giants Dial-A-Song service, which was a purposeful insert by Dan Wallace into The Essential Guide to Droids.[1]
