The EV motivator was a model of motivator that MerenData intended to install in their EV-series supervisor droid. However, either through negligence or sabotage, an employee substituted them with a case of MDF motivators, meant to be installed in torture droids. The affected droids were recalled by MerenData to replace the motivators.
