A helmet or helm was a type of protective headgear. The Helm of Ieldis was an example of a helmet,[2] as were the clone trooper learning helmets.[3] The swoop racer Blizz Pinnix's true appearance or gender was unknown by the general public due to the racer never appearing without wearing a helmet.[4] While primarily used to protect the head, ancient Mandalorian soldiers cooked uj'alayi in their helmets.[5]
