Pourstone was a building material used on dry worlds such as Tatooine, though it was also utilized in cold environments as it had excellent insulating properties.

Pourstone was commonly used in speedy construction, and could be poured into almost any shape. Even in a variety of forms, pourstone retained its structural strength. Many buildings in Anchorhead were constructed from pourstone.
