The logra was a dangerous burrowing predator native to Tatooine that hunted Jawas. When A'Deen returned from the rites of adulthood, A'Yark didn't want to be here and lamented what became of the ritual. Because the Yark clan was hiding in The Pillars, where krayts were rare, the Tusken youth were forced to kill other creatures in the rites, such as logras, instead of krayt dragons by the elders' decree. A'Yark thought the elders' decree was cowardly.[1]
