Bassoons were musical instruments which could create low notes which sounded similar to the noise created when a puffer turtle, a reptilian species native to the planet Clak'dor VII, exhaled air from its bladders.
The Xantha, a musical instrument native to the inhabitants of the planet Goroth Prime, combined elements of a lute and a bassoon.[1]
