Qlaern Hirf was a Vratix member of the Ashern Circle and a Verachen. Hirf made contact with Rogue Squadron during the Krytos threat, alerting them to the location of deadly bacta aboard a space station around Yag'Dhul. After making his way to Coruscant aboard the Pulsar Skate, he revealed to the New Republic that he had a cure for the Krytos virus, rylca. Being secretly taken to the Alderaan Biotics hydroponics facility on Borleias, he was allowed to mass-produce the cure for the virus securely.
