The Iopene Princess was a Mining Guild cutter. She was outfitted with a state-of-the-art hyperdrive as well as various scanners and probes.
During Lando Calrissian's term as Baron Administrator of Cloud City, the Princess visited the city to collect Lando's annual bribe to keep the Guild from organizing his workers. A day before she was scheduled to leave, the droid EV-9D9 hijacked the Princess, using explosives around the city's repulsorlift generators as a distraction, and escaped the city, eventually reaching Tatooine.
