- "So I squeeze off a couple of shots, trying to get their attention—which works—and then I throw my last detonator at 'em. Hard as I can. It taps right as they're unrolling, right before their shields go up. Next thing I know, my ears are ringing. I'm covered in flaming droid parts."
- ―Syke
An ear was part of the humanoid anatomy, usually on either side of the humanoid head. Ears were primarily used for hearing. During the Swarm War, a Chiss pretended to cut off Han Solo's ear with a laser scalpel during a mock-torture session.[2] The Gand species possessed earholes.[3] The Gungan species had long ears which aided them in swimming.[4]
