"Freeze, Jabba, in the Ninth Circle of Damnation!"
―Graffiti in Jabba's Palace[1]

The Ninth Circle of Damnation was a location in a version of Chaos, sometimes used as an epitaph for a particularly reviled creature.

Behind the scenes

The Ninth Circle is likely a reference to Dante's Divine Comedy. The Ninth Circle of Hell, the innermost circle, was reserved for traitors, and was indeed entirely frozen over.
