The EG-series power droid was a series of power droids manufactured by Veril Line Systems[1] that included the EG-4 power droid, the first power droid brought to market,[2] and its successor, the EG-6 power droid.[3] In response to Industrial Automaton's release of the nearly-identical GNK power droid, Veril Line Systems released the S9-series heavy power droid, a larger and more expensive variation of the EG-6.[4] Veril Line System's IN-4 information droid was built using the same basic chassis as the EG-series.[1]
