- "I have a message for Princess Leia Organa."
- ―Message droid
A courier droid, delivery droid, message droid, or messenger droid was a droid designed to deliver information or packages to a designated recipient. Courier droids that worked for NewsNets were often referred to as newsdroids.[2] If the designated recipient was not available, certain of these droids were authorized to deliver the message to an authorized representative, provided that representative could provide the password.[1]
