In 50 BBY, the Arkanian Renegades, tried to overthrow the Dominion in the Arkanian Revolution. These scientists tried to create the ultimate mercenary army and, though the revolution was put down and the Dominion remained in power, several of these cyborg mercenaries survived. The one with the highest profile being Gorm the Dissolver.
