Orin Mersai was a musician whose work had been banned by the Galactic Empire and was no longer active by the time of 0 BBY. Kardue'sai'Malloc covertly preserved recordings of Mersai's artistic output along with that of a number of other musicians whose work had fallen victim to Imperial censorship.
