An outdated weapon, a heatbeam was a gauntlet mounted weapon that produced a highly focused and sustained beam of light and heat that burned and melted a target, and though primitive by modern standards, was capable of producing enough heat to cut through light [[Durasteel/Legends|durasteel]] with ease.
