A '''Gatherer''' was an operative of the [[Bureau of Ships and Services/Legends|Bureau of Ships and Services]] tasked with tracking down individuals and their [[Starship/Legends|starships]] who sought to circumvent BoSS's data-collection efforts. They wore no uniform, and were from many different [[Alien/Legends|alien]] [[Species/Legends|species]]. They were trained in [[Computer/Legends|computer]] skills and [[Spy/Legends|espionage]], and some combat skills although they only used them in self-defense.
