Shortly before the [[Battle of Yavin/Legends|Battle of Yavin]], the [[Galactic Empire/Legends|Imperial]] [[BFF-1 bulk freighter/Legends|BFF-1 bulk freighter]] ''[[Sidral II]]'' was [[Capture of the Sidral II|hijacked]] by [[Privateer/Legends|privateers]] who scheduled a rendezvous to transfer its cargo of military equipment belonging to the [[DS-1 Orbital Battle Station/Legends|Death Star]] to the [[Alliance to Restore the Republic/Legends|Rebels]]. The ''Frazier'' was sent to conduct the pick-up, under escort from two [[R-22 Spearhead starfighter|R-22 Spearheads]] from [[Red Squadron (Rebel Alliance)/Legends|Red Squadron]], led by [[Keyan Farlander/Legends|Keyan Farlander]].

The Rebels arrived to discover that the [[Imperial-class Star Destroyer/Legends|''Imperial''-class Star Destroyer]] ''[[Immortal/Legends|Immortal]]'' had already arrived and begun launching [[TIE/LN starfighter]]s and [[TIE/sa bomber/Legends|TIE/sa bombers]], though the Star Destroyer itself was some distance away.

The R-22s were able to hold off the TIEs while the ''Frazier'' conducted its boarding operation, retrieving the components, and both ships [[Hyperspace/Legends|hyperspaced]] to safety. Study of the cargo provided essential intelligence about the Death Star project.
