'''Factor 5''' is a [[Wikipedia:Germany|German]] [[Wikipedia:Video game developer|video game developer]] that was well known for developing the [[Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (video game)|''Star Wars: Rogue Squadron'']] [[video game]] series.

In 2009, Factor 5 shut its doors due to financial trouble. The company is currently involved with litigation with employees, the employees claiming they were not given due pay.

In 2016, during a showing of ''Unseen64'', it was revealed that before their shutdown, Factor 5 had two planned video games in the making. One of them, ''[[Star Wars: Dark Squadron]]'', involved the ''Rogue Squadron'' series from the Imperial point of view. The other, which replaced ''Dark Squadron'' when it was nixed by [[LucasArts]], was [[Untitled Chewbacca game|an untitled game]] starring the Wookiee [[Chewbacca/Legends|Chewbacca]] as a mercenary, shortly after the events of [[Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith|''Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith'']].
