''Diviner'' was stationed aboard the [[Cerebus (bulk cruiser)|''Cerebus'']]. After the Imperial victory over the [[Alliance to Restore the Republic/Legends|Rebel Alliance]] in the [[Battle of Hoth/Legends|Battle of Hoth]] in 3 ABY, Admiral Holtz was assigned to destroy the [[Defiance Task Force]], the Rebel fleet tasked with escorting the survivors of [[Hoth/Legends|Hoth]] to safety. Holtz planned to do this by deploying viper probe droids across the galaxy to track down this force. ''Diviner'' was one of the probe squadrons assigned to this task.

''Diviner'' was deployed by the [[Corrupter Task Force]] in 3 ABY when that fleet was attacked by a pair of [[A-wing]]s launched by the [[Mon Calamari Star Cruiser]] [[Defiance/Legends|''Defiance'']]. One of the pilots was [[Ace Azzameen/Legends|Ace Azzameen]], who succeeded in destroying all of ''Diviner''.
